Privacy Definitions
Personal information
“Personal information” is information that you provide to us which personally identifies you, such as your name, email address or other data which can be reasonably linked to such information.
Login Account
You may access some of our services through a third party "login account". Account providers accepted by Englandeh.ca are Google, Yahoo!, AOL, Facebook, and OpenID. Signing up to obtain a login account will require providing some personal information (typically your name, email address and a password) with the third party account provider. This account information will be used to authenticate you when you access Englandeh.ca services and protect your account from unauthorized access by others. Personal information that you provide when signing up with a third party login account is subject to the terms of service and privacy policy of the account provider. Consult with you account provider on how to modify or control what type of data is shared with Englandeh.ca.
Cookie
A “cookie” is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. IP address
Every computer connected to the Internet is assigned a unique number known as an Internet protocol (IP) address. Since these numbers are usually assigned in country-based blocks, an IP address can often be used to identify the country from which a computer is connecting to the Internet.
Server logs
Like most Web sites, our servers automatically record the page requests made when users visit our sites. These “server logs” typically include your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.

Sensitive information
“Sensitive personal information” includes information we know to be related to confidential medical information, racial or ethnic origins, political or religious beliefs or sexuality and tied to personal information.
Aggregated non-personal information
“Aggregated non-personal information” is information that is recorded about users and collected into groups so that it no longer reflects or references an individually identifiable user.
Information Collected
Information we collect
Englandeh.ca offers basic services that do not require you to register for an account or provide any personal information to us. Englandeh.ca also provides enhanced services that do require registration. In order to provide our full range of services, we may collect the following types of information:
- Information you provide – When you access a service that requires registration, we ask you for your real name and a username. By registering with Englandeh.ca, your login account provider may also share with us other personal information such as your email address. Your account password is never shared with Englandeh.ca. During the registration process, Englandeh.ca may also ask for other personal information such as your home country or an images associated with your login account, such an avatar. In using our services, you may also provide information, such as comments to weblog entries, that may be viewed by other users. The information you provide is completely voluntary, but will be stored on our servers and will be publicly accessible.
- Cookies – When you visit Englandeh.ca, we send one or more cookies – a small file containing a string of characters – to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service by storing user preferences and tracking user trends.
- Log information – When you access Engandeh.ca services, our server provider, Google, automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Englandeh.ca website. Englandeh.ca processes personal information through our server provider Google. The servers may be located in United States of America and in other countries.
Some of the information collected by Englandeh.ca is made available to other users who visit Englandeh.ca. This infomation includes:
- Your selected username
- Forum and comment postings and other similar interactions with our services
- Other personal information such as a user profile that you agree can be made visible to other users
Choices for personal information
When you sign up for a particular service that requires registration, we ask you to provide personal information. If we use this information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected, then we will ask for your consent prior to such use.

- All data you provide are stored with our server provider Google. Information that you provide to Englandeh.ca is shared with Google in accordance with Google Privacy Policy. and password that you provide to authenticate your identity is stored
only with your account provider and is not in any way shared or stored
with englandeh.ca. The login account providers utilized by englandeh.ca and rpxnow.com include Google, Yahoo!, AOL, Facebook, and other OpenID providers. Please refer to your particular account provider for privacy policy details. Your login account provider may share personal information with Englandeh.ca through the services provided by rpxnow.com such as your name, email address, or other personal details. The personal information provided by your login account provider is solely controlled by your login account provider. Please refer to your specific login account provider for information on how to control the content and distribution of this information.
- Englandeh.ca utilizes the services provided by Delicious, a Yahoo! company. Personal information may shared with Delicious in accordance with the Delicious privacy policy. By using the services provided you agree to be bound to the Delicious Privacy Policy as found at http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/delicious/.
- Englandeh.ca may at any time use the services of other third party providers not described here. Englandeh.ca does not share your personal information with any third party except as described in this privacy policy.
Englandeh.ca may share with other third party companies and individuals aggregated non-personal information, such as the number of users who visit our website or the number of users who clicked a particular advertisement. Such information does not identify you individually.
Other Information
Englandeh.ca reserves the right to modify all or some of this Privacy Policy at any time without notice. If we change our Privacy Policy, we will post a notice on our website so our users are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
